I was fortunate to attend Northern California NSA meeting in San Francisco 2 May 2015. They had 2 great speakers ( Karen Jacobsen - the GPS Girl and Jessica Pettitt). There are so many wonderful events out there where you can pick up great tips and advice from excellent sources. Never miss an opportunity to learn. Sure there may be times when the information provided is just a reiteration of what you already know, but what if there was actually a golden nugget of information that was shared and you weren't there...............................

Womens Business Center Positivity Impact Session
I had a wonderful opportunity to meet and engage with a great group of people yesterday at the Women's Business Center in Sacramento. I provided a session centered around Positive Impact Presence. It involved how to apply positivity, humor, and fun in your lives and make a big impact.
I was able to provide the group with fun key ideas they could apply to enrich their lives. Below is one of the tips I provided that would definitely add value.

Filtering
We are still at the beginning of 2015 and I was just reminded that it is also a good time to look at what is happening in your life and what can make it even better. It is essential that your environment and the company you keep may be having an impact on your journey to move forward. I have experienced this impact before and found it necessary to really look closely at those things that may be having a negative impact on me and keeping my positive energy in a funk. Here are a few things to consider if your positive energy is on the attack and you need to revitalize to get back on track.

Journey to Videos
What's new with Pat? This morning I am meeting with a professional videographer to decide whether or not to do professional videos for my website. This is a big step for me. I generally try to do all things myself, but in some instances you have to leave things in the hands of the professionals. I decided prior to meeting with the video person I would put together my strategy of what I want the outcome to be. I am going to provide you with a few of the ideas I came up with.

Sharing and Caring
I am so excited this morning. I have two very special friends coming over for a pot luck lunch. I have made a pot of my 2 by 4 Chili that was shared by a very dear friend in Texas. Since I am such a horrible cook, she taught me to make a dish that is so simple that even I can do it. Below I will share with you this great recipe. It is called 2 by 4 Chili for a reason. There is only 4 ingredients, and you have 2 items of each. You have to use the brand names otherwise I can't guarantee the great taste!
2 by 4 Chili
2 cans of Progresso Minestrone Soup
2 Cans of Rotel Tomatoes
2 Cans of Ranch Style Beans
2 lbs. of hamburger (browned & drained)
Put all in the crock pot or just heat it all up and it is ready to eat.
My tip for the day is to always make time for those special friends in your life that add value. Stay away from the negative people that stress you. Delight in the richness of those that touch your heart and always make time to keep them close at hand. Enjoy your day and get in touch with someone close to you that you have been thinking about and let them know you care.
