What's new with Pat? This morning I am meeting with a professional videographer to decide whether or not to do professional videos for my website. This is a big step for me. I generally try to do all things myself, but in some instances you have to leave things in the hands of the professionals. I decided prior to meeting with the video person I would put together my strategy of what I want the outcome to be. I am going to provide you with a few of the ideas I came up with.
Here is my organized strategy for meeting with the videographer:
- Provide my introduction
- This includes information about my business
- What makes me unique?
- Who my target market is?
- Allow the professional to introduce their business
- I need to know their credentials
- Their expertise/experience
- Is this going to be the right fit for my business?
- Specific questions I have regarding my business needs
- Technical
- What has worked in the past?
- New and cutting edge marketing methods that have been successful
The key is to listen carefully and really pay attention. I view this as a learning experience for me to gain as much information as possible so that my decision to proceed will be the right one for FunSchway.
